Current Education System vis-a-vis New Normal (Part 1)

The year 2020 was an eye-opener for many of us.

It unfolded those things that we never had visualized.

The online mode, the turmoil in demand and supply system, the in bearable financial losses, loss of jobs, no more work or what work to do, frequent lockdowns, the social, economic, emotional and psychological graph going down.

I am not sharing any remedies with you as I myself am a victim of the current situation.

I was trying to find out the answers and finally came to the conclusion that nobody prepared me for this situation, neither my school nor my college nor my workplace nor my family.

Survival in a situation for which I am not prepared or ever have talked about leaves me disappointed.

Was there any lacuna in my education that was not able to train me or help me to cope with the current situation?

What about my 25 years of studies?

What about my past experiences?

Now I feel I have to start again at the age of 30- 40 years. 

This is the new normal

It is an old myth that states-

‘Changes are inevitable, without it we shall perish’

But nobody thought of this change, so they were not prepared.

As we were only trained to find the best job for ourselves, but we were not trained to create jobs for ourselves.

Now the time is demanding new skills, new jobs, finding new opportunities.

I wish I was trained for that!

It is well said there is no point beating the bush. Every problem has its own solution.

It is the time for our old ancient education system to change.

It is the time to develop your own competencies.

It is the time to introspect and find out your weaknesses and strengths.

It is the time to know your own potentials and capacities.

It is the time to learn one or two little things every day.

It is the time to communicate, collaborate and investigate.

It is the time to work!!!!
